GDPR In Marketing
What is GDPR?
The GDPR is the regulatory mechanism for gathering and managing personal data from people living within the European Union ( EU) The General Data Security Regulation (GDPR).
What does GDPR DO?
In the Internet society, we welcome the fact that privacy is a priority, not just a "nice thing to have." We are one of those who prepare for the GDPR as an organization with an international community that operates around the world. It's not easy to do privacy well, but we care about it and think it should be everybody, despite where they are.
Europe has all the while been very explicit about its aim to create a much better and secure privacy system. Europe has found out, in recent years, that it not only differs from those of its peers, but also one of its key objectives, to respect the right to privacy. The ePrivacy Directive of 2002 and the 2014 EU Court of Justice Decision on the Right to Forget, the 2017 proposal for an ePrivacy Regulation and the GDPR, all clearly illustrate the region which is committed to providing strong privacy protection.
In this context, Europe has accomplished two things: firstly, it has been a philosophic debate that has long been a matter of little concrete results to provide a substance for the global debate on the protection of internet privacy, and secondly, it seeks through GDPR to position itself as a global de facto privacy regulator.
Conclusion
With GDPR in place, we will now work closely with all relevant parties to create a more cohesive legal structure on privacy, which integrates consistent regional solutions to privacy and the security of personal data. It, as the GDPR, places consumers at the middle of data protection, assisted by a collective commitment to make the privacy environment more transparent, consistent and enforceable.
